Hi everyone,
Welcome to my 2nd blog. I just judged
a pageant for the first time. It was a pageant based on platform. The director
wants to empower and encourage the women in her neighborhood to be more active.
I felt much honored. I was able to connect with the girls. I was reminded that
once you do the homework the judges will see it. If you don't work on your
platform regularly, your interview will be very hard. Showing confidence, a
beautiful smile, and promoting your platform are keys to success in pageantry. As a pageant contestant I got reminded that I need to spend time promoting my platform and to make it my full time job.
Remember a winner doesn't need a crown. My third blog will be about how I spent
my holiday. Happy new year everyone!!
